 Brenda Tippin is a Biologist, Free-Lance Writer, and Morgan horse historian, who has studied and used natural health products for more than thirty years.  She is an advocate of all natural therapeutic grade essential oils which she has successfully used both for herself and her family as well as for her horses and other pets.  She is the author of the Young Living/DoTerra report, a 45 page comparison detailing the history, testing and quality standards of two leading essential  companies, Young Living and DoTerra, which also includes an overview of Native American Nutritionals.   She is an Independent Distributor of Young Living Essential Oils. Brenda has worked for the US Forest Service since 1979 in a variety of projects, including wildlife surveys and  27 seasons working in remote areas to staff a fire tower watching for forest fires.  Brenda has worked for three national forests in two states, serving on seven different districts plus Supervisor's office and Forest Service Nursery.

She has been the primary lookout for Rustler Peak on the Rogue-Siskiyou National Forest since 1992, and helped get it named to the National Historic Lookout Register. She has authored more than 40 articles for The Morgan Horse magazine with regular contributions since 1985, as well as some for other equine publications.  Brenda is the owner of three Morgan horses and has also done equine appraisals, consulting, and pedigree analysis and research.  She is a consultant and member of the project team for a new documentary film being developed on the Morgan as America's first breed.  Brenda is presently working on a book to compile her Morgan horse articles and research. In addition, Brenda has served as Secretary of the Board for the acclaimed all violin nonprofit youth ensemble, Siskiyou Violins, which she helped to obtain their 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

 The Siskiyou Violins have performed and earned gold medals at New York's world famous Carnegie Hall, as well as Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and are currently preparing for a June 2014 five performance tour of Central Europe which will include appearing at Vienna's Haus der Musik.  To learn more about these talented young musicians and help them achieve their goal of realizing this life-changing performance opportunity, please visit Siskiyou Violins.

 Also, since early 2013 Brenda has served as a consultant and grant writer for VolPACT, a nonprofit organization providing non-emergency specialty treatments to low-income uninsured residents of Jackson County, OR.  She was instrumental in helping them obtain their 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, as well as $25,000 in grant funds during 2013.
